***** As of late Friday afternoon, March 27th, we received new and conflicting updates regarding COVID-19 and the operation of the golf course. It seems that the interpretation of the order provides some gray area. We have decided to close the golf course and clubhouse in order to err on the side of caution. Please stay tuned for updates. Be safe! Be healthy.
All 18 holes will be open for you to enjoy soon enough. The course is mostly dry and the greens have been mowed. During this difficult time while we endure the impact of COVID-19, will expect and require EVERY Golfer to conduct themselves within the guidelines set forth by The Centers for Disease Control, The Vermont Department of Health, and Neshobe Golf Club. The guidelines include but are not limited to the following:
Stay at least 6' from all other people ( SOCIAL DISTANCING!!)
Do not shake hands or touch anyone
If you sneeze or cough cover your face
There will be no rakes in the bunkers
Scorecards and pencils will not be distributed.
Do not congregate in groups of 5 or more anywhere on the property.
The clubhouse is closed except for takeout. At this time we can offer hot dogs, snacks, and beverages. Please phone in your order and it will be brought out to you at the main entrance.
The restroom in the locker rooms will be available for URGENT use only and we ask that you wash your hands before and after use and enter and exit one at a time.
Golf carts will not be out today but hopefully soon.
Please adhere to these guidelines so that we all can be healthy and safe while we get some much needed exercise, breath some fresh air and enjoy some early spring GOLF!!! Be Safe.
