Position Overview: Neshobe Golf Club is seeking a dedicated and experienced Front of House Manager to lead our team in providing exceptional service to our members and guests. The Front of House Manager will oversee the operations of the bar, waitstaff, and inventory management to ensure a seamless and enjoyable dining and social experience for all patrons.
- Bar Operations Management:
- Supervise the bar staff, ensuring proper training and adherence to service standards.
- Develop and maintain an enticing beverage menu, including cocktails, wines, and non-alcoholic options.
- Monitor inventory levels of beverages, garnishes, and supplies, and coordinate timely restocking.
- Oversee the proper maintenance of the bar area, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
- Waitstaff Leadership:
- Recruit, train, and schedule waitstaff to meet operational needs while providing excellent customer service.
- Set performance expectations and conduct regular performance evaluations for waitstaff.
- Foster a team-oriented environment that encourages collaboration and positive interactions among staff members.
- Handle any customer inquiries, concerns, or complaints regarding service, ensuring swift and effective resolutions.
- Inventory Management:
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels for beverages, supplies, and equipment.
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and accurate order placement.
- Implement cost-control measures to minimize waste and maximize profitability.
- Guest Experience Enhancement:
- Work closely with the kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication and coordination between front of house and back of house operations.

- Collect and analyze feedback from patrons, making necessary adjustments to service procedures as needed.
- Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure that all health, safety, and sanitation standards are strictly adhered to in accordance with local regulations.
- Stay updated on relevant alcohol service laws and regulations and ensure they are followed by all staff members.
- Conduct regular inspections of the dining and bar areas to identify and address any potential safety hazards.
- Previous experience in restaurant or hospitality management, with a focus on bar and waitstaff operations.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly in inventory management.
- Exceptional customer service and communication abilities.
- Proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer applications.
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to alcohol service and safety.
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Certification in responsible alcohol service (e.g., TIPS, ServSafe) is a plus.
